If you are considering quartz for your project, you probably have some questions. These frequently asked questions will provide an insight into quartz surfaces and help you make a decision on whether quartz is the right surface for your project.

Quartz minerals are mined, ground and bound together with resin and under intense pressure and heat, the quartz slab is created. During the process, colors are added to give your quartz a beautiful aesthetic.

Bretonstone is a company in Italy that has a patent on how to create quartz with the upmost quality and in the most efficient way. Forum Quartz is made up of 93% crushed natural stone and 7% resin. You can rest assured knowing Forum Quartz is made with Breton Technology and is of the highest quality.

Forum Quartz comes in different price levels ranging from 1-4. Quartz slabs are comparable to other types of stone such as granite, marble or quartzite.

Quartz will last you a very long time, especially knowing Forum is made with Breton Technology. Under normal use, quartz is an extremely durable surface resistant to heat, scratching and staining. No surface is indestructible and can be subject to damage. To keep its shine and luster, we always recommend using a cutting board and a hot pad when cooking.

Quartz is very user friendly, as does not need to be sealed. Mild soap and water is sufficient for cleaning. If there are marks that are difficult to remove, use a gentle cleaning scrub with a soft towel. Stay away from using any type of abrasive cleansing pad as this could dull the surface.
